Its time …. I have waited and waited and waited and its now time – Blogging is one of those things I have watched enthusiastically over the last year and as you will hear many many times from Johnnie & myself sometimes you just need to do it.
By means of an introduction we are The Coffeeboys – I am the Salesman. Yep they get a bad press, however, good ones are hard to find so I hope to convince you to follow the Coffeeboy rants and ideally add some value to your coffee business & your customers. I will let Johnboy introduce himself. More on me later too …..
For now my first post is a call to action. Time is not money … Time is everything … and what is really important in any business is your customer & clients time. Now as you have bothered to check out The Coffeeboys, I think there has to be some good content to make it worth your while … The future is knowledge, blogging and sharing ideas. It is also uninhibited. Most importantly, it takes discipline to just do it ….
…. and there lies the real truth … with your Coffee offer – stop the excuses and actually manage the 3 factors that will make coffee taste great.(You do know don’t you ? … if not call the coffeeboys!) If you can make it taste great (which is really actually easy enough) you can sell more and you can take advantage of the biggest margin product you have …. Why do you think there has been a Coffee explosion in the last 5 years?
Its because its all about the money (Lesson 1, 2 & 3 of the 52 ways) … and you will be on the money if you act on your Coffee Taste … but you have to ACT. It might sound somewhat trite, but its what its all about.
Some detail coming up … Today is to make the decision to do it. Like me with the blog.
Well done boys – finally plunged into Blogland. I guess you have been reading the press recently that there are now almost as many ex bloggers as bloggers out there. Everyone starts out with the best of intentions – will post regularly (at least twice a week), will be inteligent and wont waffle etc etc – and then – six months on posts slow to a crawl and the blog dies.
So as late entrants to the field I am sure you have considered all these points and more and will have the blog of blogs – so to speak.
I started writing and posting newsletters 5 years ago and like the fact that I dont feel under pressure ever just to write somehthing for the sake of posting. Will I ever blog – dont know.
In any case – best of luck with the blog and the venture!
Gary
Thanks
You’re absolutely correct about the whole blogging thing. They rise up in a furious tide of action and die out very quickly in many cases. Within part of my business we create internal newsletters for, amongst others, NIE and Bombardier so I’m very familiar with the notion of deadlines and keeping at it.
So fingers crossed we’ll stick at it
